There's a bunch of misinformation flying around the "Tyres Question" thread. Note the third picture - that Merc without it's ESP, fails to stay within the cones !ESP Systems (re Tyres Question)

Nice info, especially the bit about engine retarding.
I know the Audi quattro system combined with EDL is a very good one, I don't know about others sorry.
