Yesterday (wed) I collected another March ST, so I am now the owner of another white March ST!

Its in a poor external state and is one of two official nissan imports in the UK (in 1989). It was a non runner due to blocked injector, and I had to move it from northampton to surrey via hire 4x4 and trailer.

some pics....

Anyway today I stripped out the old inletmanifold http://69.10.158.25/forums/attachment.php?aid=51 then i bolted on my inlet manifold from my other March ST http://69.10.158.25/forums/attachment.php?aid=53 http://69.10.158.25/forums/attachment.php?aid=54thats me (hi all)

http://69.10.158.25/forums/attachment.php?aid=52Put everything back where it should be (roughly) And now.... http://69.10.158.25/videos/ek10-21.wmv its running!! soon after this after it nearly got upto temp it blew a water hose, so I shall sort that tomorrow, Anyway looks like I may have a running ST again soon after ALOT of body work. Its so great to hear one of these running again..

-snip-

Wow a micra that moves when you press the accelerator pedal (well once you fixed it, it did).

Performance from my "colette" is shocking! Mind you, I have had it off the clock (clock goes up to 100mph)

lol.. that micra will be running around 130 bhp with a very few tweeks. It has a close ratio 5 speed box on it, my other one has a better set of ratios that will see you indicated 145 (apparently....!) before your basically sat on the limiter.

It will be fun thats for sure :)

What's the interior like on one of those Ed? My Colette has a lovely beige and brown interior. With nicely coordinated brown seatbelts!

Gadzooks man, that's HORRENDOUS :)

It must be bad as you're used to the glorious Rover 600 interior...

Although your Coupe has an interior of similar hue ;)

Seriously though, when I'm all dressed up nice, coming out of a client meeting that's gone well and I'm feeling good, realising I have to drive home in "colette" soon wipes the smile off my face. Then once I'm sitting inside, the interior just rubs salt in the wound! And then the stereo has only one 3" speaker in the passenger footwell, and only picks up Medium Wave and Long Wave... mind you it's introduced me to the delights of "McDonald and Maguire in the morning" on Magic 1152 :)

However, the K10 Micra is an engineering masterpiece. As a piece of engineering, they haven't bettered it with any of the successive models. Although the Figaro rocks (IMHO) and is based on a K10.

My old Triumph Acclaim had the same kinda set up :D I got used to listening to Aero classic rock, some foreign station, and also Atlantic 252, as it still existed back then.

Is that the bubble shape (K reg onwards) you're on about?

See the pic in my earlier post (and other pics of my micra in Ronny's gallery thingy). K10 is the "Mark 1" square Micra. Mine is the "Mark 1" K10 with the old style grille and lights and was built way back in '86

I have to agree with that, they are small engines but they are in my opinion one of the best 1.0 engines produced by anyone.

Just finding pics of the interiour of my st :)

Ok. Time to make you Jelous lol check this out, (these are pics of my other ST which is in bits at the mo, but before I did that to it)

WOW that's a total transformation and looks really nice!

Well I really like them haha :) This one I just got is not bad either. Needs alot of TLC but its running now at least.

^^ That reply is either proof the everything really is relative or proof that sarcasm doesn't come across on usenet :-P

Are you saying that the ST interiour is not to your liking?

Relative to a colette it is, relative to a maserati 4200 it isn't :)

I would rather the ST to be honest :)

Exactly !

So did the last Rolls Royce that I saw inside, but I hardly think they compare :)

Seats are rather nice - are they standard items ?

Interior pic wars ahoy
