Not that the description says it is an LPT, but it has a recirc valve,=20 and there is definatley an intercooler in the picture.

2 downsides though. 1) A psychic told the missus I was going to buy a=20 white car and she would get pregnant 2) No leather interior.

That ain't no LPT.

  1. A good car is never a bad colour.
  2. Leather interiors can be had for under £300 (including a parts car sometimes!)
  3. Fitting the whole interior is an easy Sunday + 6 pack job.
  4. The missus - really??

I don't mind white See below.

A burgndy leather interior came up on Ebay when I had the old one.=20 But it sold for =A3450, when I only paid =A3300 for the car, which was a=20 shame.

Oh I know it can be done.

That is what the psychic said, so I'm banned from owning a white car, no=20 matter how good it is, at least until December (we are off to Morroco=20 for her 30th, out of her redundancy from her last job), because she=20 doesn't want to fly when heavily pregnant. After that no problems.

if it is solid (rust wise) and runs well, no noises, etc. (especially tranny whine) get it.

It's got the right spec and it's a good price. If there nothing much up with the bodywork then it would be worth a dabble. Of course, for 1500 quid it would *have* to run right. There are a lot of good C900s for less than that.

Keep an eye on Hagstom's and SAAB Specialist Cars:

... Oh, and there's these guys in Pontefract, too!

Looks like a FPT to me.

Hands off ... Orca's mine ... On both counts!
