Another '67 F100 project truck update

I got the '69 cab which was destined for the '67 into the shop and started stripping the interior, and found a lot more rust than I previously thought existed. Now I'm trying to decide whether to try to fix it or find another cab. I have lots of time involved with getting it so far, but no money, so I really wouldn't be out anything if I decide not to use it. Hmmmmm..... Well, anyway, I posted pics at

for anyone interested. There's also a couple of pictures of items I found on the '69 cab of which I have no idea what they are. Can someone enlighten me? (I know, I really do need to get some shop manuals!) Decided to convert to power steering, but keep the 3-on-the-tree, and from research done in the FTE forums found that a Bendix-style steering box would be a direct bolt-in, but the box was only used in '68 and half of '69. It turned out that the Ford gods were smiling on me, as one of the two parts trucks I was dismantling was a '68 and has the Bendix-style box, so I'm headed back out to the field tomorrow morning to retrieve that. Then in the afternoon my wife and I are going salvage-yard scrounging at two U-Pull-Its, looking for AC compressor mounting brackets and power steering pump brackets for the I6. I'll also be keeping my eyes open for another cab, but I'm not holding my breath on running into a good speciman in any of the yards around here. I'm taking the digital camera with me to record the adventure...should be fun, as I haven't gotten the opportunity to do this for a while. Stay tuned!

Have you considered a cab from U.S. Body? Has anyone here ever bought anything from them?
