Just been out for a quick blat while the roads are quieter.

Still does it after checking pressures. Does it in 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th regardless of revs, from between 50/55 and arround 70 (btw, 70 in 3rd sounds awesome).

Thing is, only occurs for 5 minutes is, first 15 minutes after coolant gauge shows normal/middle it is fine. 4th and 5th both cleanly pull 50. No vibration. Then suddenly it comes on, doesn't matter whether the road is straight, veering right or left, it just does it. Then, it just goes off.

The brake is still binding though, because it will hold on a slight slope in either direction out of gear with no handbrake.

Sounds like something in the transmission, propshaft, diff, driveshaft ?

Are you sure it's a brake binding, is one wheel getting hotter than the others after a drive?

Not sure other than by touch they both feel pretty warm, but you out a car on a slope out of gear it will roll. This won't

Brake or propshaft.

Just wondering if the vibration was transmission related perhaps it not moving when out of gear is related. Anything binding between the clutch and the wheel would also stop it moving when out of gear.

True.

Get shot of it while you have the chance, IMHO. Knowing your history with cars this will run and run until you get pissed off with the whole thing and flog it for little cash...
