A standard 221BHP WRX would beat a 325i off the line due to the AWD, once rolling (due to AWD transmission losses) there would be very little in it, the 325i has 190BHP and it's RWD.
In standard spec the WRX's haven't really got good mid range oomph..
325 is probably 1400-1500kg's the scoob is around 1800kg's so there's the weight difference too.
