OT: Cheap flights to US and South America

Hello All,

Sorry for being totally OT but I usually get a good answer to most questions here, so I thought I'd ask .

I'm looking for a cheap flight from London to Miami , stay a few days, fly on to Bogota for a week or so, then onto Sao Paulo for another 2 weeks then return to London.

Travel agents are coming up with silly prices because none of the flights are return.

Can anyone help me with this one?

Cheers

Mike P

Also, give

Bogota, eh? Sampling the local produce? ;-)

Not necessarily a place I'd go to for me hols but hey...

You've just hit the nail on the head - airlines tend to charge an arm and a leg for non-return flights. However you *may* be able to find an airline that can both get you to Miami and back from Sao Paulo, which would work out cheaper than booking two singles.

Sometimes you can get away with booking a return and only using one leg, but that depends on the airline. I've done this before and the airline actually sold me a return because the single ticket was stupidly expensive...
