[OT] Volvo S80 - opinions please.

Hi,

I'm considering one of these, has anyone got anything good or bad to say about them. I'll be going for a 'lower priced' example, so do they have any particular things to look for on high-mileage ones?

All input gratefully received.

Cheers.

I'm glad to see this theory is slowly taking root on the net. I use it everytime I take stuff up to the dump. If I fold the rear seats it allows me to load more rubbish in the back. By folding the rear seats to take the extra rubbish, it makes the car lighter, thus negating the extra load caused by loading the rubbish. :-)

Nah, not enough prestige doing it that way.

What you need to do is leave a card that says " (insert) Department Manager" somewhere near the gearlever and wear shades. That'll make whatever you drive faster and better informed than anything else on the road.

You will, unfortunately, become an expert on Co2 emissions taxation, company car tax, and have to spend half your "leisure" time justifying the fact you drive a diesel repmobile by saying "Well, it was thrown in with the job, could hardly refuse it for what it costs. Of course, my choice would be ".

The other half of the time you spend talking to the neighbours "Well, I thought it was time for something a bit more modern, and I just love soft touch plastics".

Folding the seats would make you look like a photocopier salesman, and that'd be social suicide at the wine bar...

F*ck.

See, that paragraph taken alone could just mean he (whoever he is) has made the leap from:
