Scrapyard request

How far are you from Salisbury / Andover / Stockbridge? There is Richard Noons, just off the A30 near Lipcombe Corner. I can't remember his phone number off the top of my head, but he is a "proper" scrap yard, where you can still crawl over the cars and take the bits off yourself. I'm pretty sure he had some 400 series Volvos in the last time I was there (which TBH was a couple of months ago). He's really helpful and good prices as well, so worth a call...

Certainly within a saturday morning drive distance!! I'll find the number and give him a call. The problem is that even if he does have some 400s, chances are they wont have the brakes I need.

They're for an upgrade, without some old ones to exchange there's usually a large surcharge.

Yep, they're double the price. Plus is an experimental upgrade so dont even know they're gonna fit yet!!
