Lol a long day for you :)

Nice to meet you two

That's the first time I've got up early to ride the bike for months.... a bit nippy on the M4 as I'd left the house with the vents on my jacket zipped open, doh!

Spent most of my time in lane 1 of the M4 at 85-ish mph, whilst everyone did significantly less in lanes 2 and 3. A special mention should go to the white Astra estate full of old blokes which seemed to do 90mph on all the straight, downhill bits, and 60mph on the uphill and twisty bits (the M4 around Newport is quite challanging in this respect) - all whilst resolutely sticking to the outside lane. Idiot. Quite satisfying slaughtering him by maintaining 85mph through the twisties, though :-)

The VFR was on top form today - it seemed to run so much better on the cold, damp air. Quite a nice bark to it's exhaust note :-)

Please define lane numbers.

DC

Lane 1 = Left hand lane Lane 2 = middle or right hand lane Lane 3 = right hand lane (also referred to as the 'outside lane' above)

So you went to Birmingham via Bristol. From Yorkshire. In a KA. And Birmingham wasn't even open when you got there.

Dude, 3 1/4 hours from birmingham? Use the pedal on the right, i do it in less than that and i'm over 30 miles further away than you :)

You so need to experience Ka, man.

I have a button to push for that sort of thing. Choice of three. Slow. Slower. Almost stopped. :0

I have done and would far rather do it in an alternative vehicle. The dash design is so bulbous in the middle that it reduces the knee room a lot. Crap engine too.

You reckon (to the knee problem)? Weird. Maybe you're an odd shape? :)

As for the donk, given that it isn't a V8, yeah it's crap.
