In a word, mental! I spent the morning at the McDonalds there (long story involving my colleague's broadband not working) and it was gridlock even when I left at 11:30. Met up with poor Pete M who took over an hour to do 8 miles...

Yup, and it is all "expressways" so you never know which way you are going when you get moving.

I'll let you know what Ian's gonna do about the car, he said he was gonna talk it over with his missus tonight. Personally I think he should just eBay the Hyundai and get something else...
That, I think, would be the wisest option.
Nice office, needs a better canteen though.
