17x8 bullitt rims on 66

I have a 66 v-8 car and four good looking 01 17X8 take offs. I know the offset is incorrect and I need adapters. I need to know the thickness of adapter I need. N>P>D. sells them for 279!!!! outrageous! I can get them for half that price if I knew the thickness I needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanx!!

00 blk gt. chrome mach1 17x8,s cold air, h pipe flowmasters.

Hi Kelly, You could try swapping your rear axle for a 67-70. They have a wider spacing that would make spacers on the back unecessary and you could convert to a 9" at the same time.
