You may have a ways to go rw. My husband's 88 F250 ran 268,000 miles and was just beginning to wheeze when we sold it and moved south. We now have a 99 F250. Again, a great truck.

| > The plot thickens. :) | | I drive a 2000 F150 (Ford Lariat) pickup with about 110,000 miles on it. | It has been, hands down, by FAR the most reliable vehicle I've ever | owned (including Chrysler, GM, Honda, Porsche, VW, BMW, and MG). It runs | as well now as it ever has. Better, even. I regularly tow a heavily | laden two-horse trailer and carry a cab-over camper. No problems | whatsoever. I haven't spent a dime on it other than regular maintenance, | which I do scrupulously. I envy, and could easily afford, a much nicer, | newer, bigger truck, but I've decided to run this one into the ground | out of pure gratitude and loyalty. | | BTW, now that it's scratched up enough that I don't have to worry about | cosmetics when I drive through the rough, often overgrown dirt roads of | central Idaho, I feel truly liberated. :-) | | -- | Cut "to the chase" for my email address.
