Just finished reinstalling both heads on 2000 GT because of stripped spark plug threads. The LH head is a real pain to install because the exhaust manifold has to be installed after the head goes on in order to install the dispstick tube. One of the exhaust manifold nuts is really time consuming. The stupid Ford design has the dipstick tube running through a hole in the exhaust manifold. Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket dipstick tube that mounts outside the exhaust manifold and not through it?
