There's a feature on Ford's (official) website where you can "build" your car. You choose the model and options, and it will give you MSRP. It also gives you the price of each individual option. This is what I did before I ordered my 01 GT.

You can try to work them, but the Mach 1s tend to be rare on the lots. Cobras seem to be more populous. GTs will be easier to work. Six weeks ago there was a $3,000 rebate when I got mine. Sticker was $25,280. I got it for $21,500 with tax and title, out the door which means the car price was in the $19,500 range after negotiating. There were no hidden fees, because I said I'm writing a check for this about and nothing more.

It wasn't an easy deal to swing. I left that dealer ship, looked elsewhere, came back (now looking for used and they had nothing I wanted). Sales lady asked, well, why not a new one? I said, I don't want to waste your time or mine, why go though the negotiating again. She said, Okay, just give me on more chance. After going back and forth for a bit, the did not meet my price. $500 too high. I was climbing into my car to leave and she runs out said We'll do it, We'll do it!

Right now, with the rebates, prices between $24,000 and $25,000 are amongst the best for a left-over '03 Mach 1. A price of $24,685 is darn good, and right in the middle of the best range. I would grab it.

Just th> damn.. I'm wondering now if I can get it lower ? that means their selling
