Have a 90 mustang conv. with electric door locks and both stopped working...fuse is good...can they both go bad at the same time??

Highly unlikely... I would think that there is a concern that will be common to both switches. It is time to learn how to use a voltmeter (if I can do it, anyone can do it).
Most likely, it's the drivers side door switch. Had the same problem on a '94 Taurus.
psssssst dont listen to warman use a focking testlite i will give a a clue check wires in doorjamb for breaks if ok order a master switch
