I have new door cams, however can't get get either the pin that holds the cam or the pin that holds the roller off the door.
Is there a secret to this, or is it simply brute force?

The pin is pretty much brute force... Though I have seen some shops that have a nifty power-tool that does it.
Try a stubby flat tip.
the stubby flat tip would probably work
