Hey Everyone, Last weekend i installed the March Pulleys #1015, the "Power and Amp" series on my '89 5.0 in my Ranger. I got this kit because of the accessories i run, electric fuel pump, stereo, etc. They work great, but once i hit the headlights, the voltage drops to 11. Add more accessories (heater fan, wipers, etc) it will drop a little more. I had the alternator checked while the truck was running, it showed the same as my volt meter. Same results with and without accessories. The alternator and charging harness is from a the '89 Mustang. Should i just slip the stock pulley back on the alternator? Has anyone used a high output alternator, such as from PA Performance, or somewhere else? Could i have my alternator "beefed-up" inside?
Thanks, Don W
