Mustang II suspension

Whats the point of adding mustang II suspension to early mustangs. I know the power rack and pinion is a big plus, but is there anything else? Smoother ride?

At the very least you can get rid of that slobbering, sloppy linkage power steering.....

If you do the whole clip you get less unsprung weight which is a biggie, fewer moving parts (and you get rid of the upper inners, the stock ones could be troublesome and noisey) and you get rid of the lower shock trunnion winding up with springs that are much easier to change.
