Went to a service place and they did a "test" and told me that i needed to replace my egr valve. I can get the part off the net, but I dont know how to replace it and if i need additional parts when I replace that one. please help!

I don't know about a V6's EGR specifically; however, on my V8 the EGR is off with a quick and easy twist of two nuts, and the disconnecting an electrical plug-in. (All you should need is a wrench [1/2 and/or
9/16] and a gasket that should come with the EGR valve when you buy it.) If you have good access to the EGR on your V6, it's a 5-minute job. Good luck.Patrick '93 Cobra
