Guess we'll never be moving to Tennessee. *L* We have one of each so if we moved we'd soon have one of none...
Last year it was in April/May, it was my first time down there. My GF grew up in Memphis. We're thinking of a late summer trip this year. I'd like to go right now, it's COLD up here! :D __ John C. '03 Cobra Convt.

Skullbone Music Park, Skullbone, TN Skullbone, Tennessee is an unincorporated community located just outside of Bradford. As the story goes, the community got its name from the barenuckle matches held in and around the company store. These matches were nicknamed skullboning and as a result the name stuck with town.
Since then, the community has become somewhat of a trademark in rural West Tennessee and has built a music park to attract additional attention. The music park is located at 170 Skullbone in Bradford, Tennessee.
The music park is pretty cool. I have yet to make it back to check it out but here is a link.

The whole town is basically in one two story building. Post office, general store, police station, gas station, etc. I am sure you get the idea. I think the population is less than 100 people!
Congrats Kate!! I just found out a friend of mine is getting married in October up around Nashville, how far away is that from where you are? If its close enough maybe we could meet up, if I bring the lightning. Sounds like ya'll find a pretty nice place for a pretty good price too, and also congrats on the truck! :) Erik D. Sorry I'm a little late to this parade, things have been a touch frantic between work, going to the Sugar Bowl, and more work
so...
Congrats! Y'all have sure been on one heck of a journey.
Sounds like you found exactly what you wre looking for. I guess it was worth the wait? So, I guess the private drag strip idea isn't going to work out after all, darn.
Perfect place for a couple of old farts to retire.
Ya gots ta have a truck!
Congrats on the find again. I'm sure y'all will do just fine out there. If I ever get out that way I'll be sure to let you know.
Well, it was probably more fun for you than it was for me but hell, we just went 12-2... pretty tough to complain about that.
We didn't spend a great deal of time around NO, in fact we stayed out in Metairie. It was a great trip and an absolute butt-clencher of a game. I can definitely say I got my money's worth plus I came back to OK with 5 lbs. of REAL coffee!
Gotcha, I don't live IN new orleans but I live about 10 minutes away across the river on the other side of the city from metairie. I think I am in metairie more than I am at home though. About the game, it sure was a battle, I thought it was going to be a blowout at first, but OK kept hanging in there. The guy who got me the ticket graduated from OK so he wasn't super excited about the game at the end, but he still had a good time in the city I think. But it sure was a blast to be at the game, I don't think I sat down for longer then 5 minutes during the whole thing, lol. Well, if you make it down here again, look me up. We'll have to drink a beer or two. Later, Erik D. '94 white lightning
