OT: Politically correct

Bowling perhaps... pool... me and my friend merely go to distract our guy friends when we bend over (now that's politically correct and not sexist at all). We're terrible shots.

I worked for Fujitsu years ago ( with engineers) and I hear every word your saying!! As for the English language your example is top notch (is there a Japanese saying for that?!) Other languages have their aces over English here and there but none have the massive vocabulary to delve into. StuK

I used to have a pool table, but I haven't really practiced honestly in years and years, so I'm not great either.

Bowling, I used to average around 200 and have had a couple 300's, one in sanctioned ABC play, and a couple 299's, again, one in sanctioned ABC play. I left YABA when I was 18 and started bowling ABC from there. I've since quit with shoulder injuries sustained at work. I still like the game and miss it a bit. I'm 25 now. With the proper coaching and a body that doesn't have the weak joints that it does, I probably could have made a go at professional. Unfortunately, neither of those were the case.

Chase your dreams... maybe we'll see you on TV some day. ;-)

Bending over to distract your guy friends, eh? That's why I have such a hard time playing against my girl... between watching her play and the comments she makes while I'm shooting, it's damn near impossible to bother trying to concentrate. :-)

My favorite topic! Where's CJ when you want him around?

Thanks, Mike. That is the winner! Shit makes absolutely no sense, at all. If you're a citizen of the US, you're an American, plain and simple. Instead, why don't we just use black, brown or white skinned person to describe someone? Just like we use the terms blond, brunette, or redhead to describe a person's hair color. This isn't rocket science like we're trying to make it.

Makes you almost want to become a citizen of an African country for a while just to be able to come back and f*ck with people.

Yes, she did! And her story needs to be retold countless times over just to drive home the point about how dumb the hyphens are.

Wow! Sounds just like Canada's Liberal government! Whenever an election comes up, they crank up the goodie wagon for immigrants (things like bring your whole 9000 person family over with no checks, etc) all to buy votes.
