I am so excited about this I can't hardly stand it. Three weeks left, and I nearly have the whole house packed already.

correction.. I fantasize about having Shug supercharged... It's been "my turn" for several years now. Hopefully, when we get settled back there, I will find a way to do it. It's something I want badly enough to squirrel my $$ away for. I'm thinking that when I have it done, I might like to send her out for it rather than doin it at home. Will have to wait and see... now THAT is what blows MY dress up! Yippie aye oh kye aye!

Did you put 99+ heads on it? Or is it just GT heads that suck on 98's?

The 4V stuff has always performed well. It's us 96-98 SOHC guys that had the crappy heads.

(WHY oh why didn't Ford offer a manual tranny with the V6 in '83-'86?? I mean, they were underpowered as it was, but the C-5 automatic didn't help any!)
