100.The '96-01 DOHCs are high-compression, cast internal engines. They *don't* like blowers. It's been done, yes, but there are plenty of horror stories about guys with 6lb blowers, dyno-tuned, breaking their cars on the way home from the dyno.
Strap a blower on a GT... you have a better chance for survival.
I agree. I'd take a stock '03 Cobra over a GT with a blower. Think of it in terms of the person who doesn't already have the GT. Go get yourself a $15k used GT, and throw another $5k at it for the blower kit, intercooler, and fuel management system... and you're just about as fast. You're at $20k. The Cobras are still $14k higher, but you get all of that stuff Rein mentioned, plus a warranty.
I'd take the '03-04 snake if I could swing the price. Below that, it's all about the same.
