My ramfm.org account died today. Anybody else?

I will have to check mine, but I can look into it elsewhere also. What I mean is I know who to contact.

hmm, no valid admin, billing or tech address for ramfm.org. It's www site is served on a Linux box. Apparently colocated. Running an older

8.12.8 version of sendmail. I wonder if it got nabbed by a virus/trojan as 8.12.8 has some security issues. Some further digging showed a different domain with a contact address and email. Which I won't post here as I don't want the poor guy spammed. :-)

the email for that contact info is out of date iirc. I should know something by tomorrow afternoon. The person I need to talk to is out of town until late this evening.

However, my email does work for ramfm.org

Sorry, that one expired on the local newsserver. It's easy to find though via

formatting link
Use 'dot1q.net' (without the ') as the search argument. Then do it again, but use the domain part of the contact email for the search argument.

Hey folks...

Stephen (p0lar) had to relocate the RAMFM email server from his old employer's hosting facility, so there was an interruption in service for a few days. He has it back up and running now, so you need to contact him for a new password and login information.

Just send an email to snipped-for-privacy@bananaramfm.org (remove the banana) and tell him what your old account was and ask him for a new login, etc.

If it gets to the point again where he might need to relocate it or just do away with the server all together, I will do my best to host it here. I've already got one high-traffic site sitting downstairs so I might as well host another.
