Removal of 2003 Mach460 head unit?

Nov 12, 2003 2 Replies

I've removed all kinds of Ford stereos in the past by using the U-shaped tools. The stereo in my 2003 GT doesn't have the holes for the tools, though, so how do people get these things out? Is removal of the surrounding trim required? Thanks.

First you gotta take the trim off the shifter, then the trim around the radio/vents, and you're set. Gagan

This link is to a site that shows how to activate/enable the Speed Sensitive Volume option on a Mach460 system. It show how to remove the head unit.
