Do you mean "Ackerman"? More commonly referred to as "toe out on turns"...

This angle is built into the steering system through the design of the arms on the steering knuckle and is non-adjustable (though, sometimes, things get bent - but that's a different story).

As we drive through a corner, the inside tire follows a much smaller circle than the outside tire. This means that the inside tire needs to turn "tighter" than the outside tire to avoid scrubbing.
