Consider? Of course. Build? That depends.

Ford can do it for very low cost by importing the falcon ute. If it fails then they aren't out much. If it takes off they can tool up in the US.
If the El Camino or Ranchero are ever redone, hopefully the sticker prices are reasonable. I'd hate to see another SSR fiasco.
