None yet. We should hit 'em up for it, a midsized performance ute is just what the doctor ordered. for those who don't want Commodore/Falcon-sized behemoths. (2.5 turbo model sounds like a good car to me)

I saw the falcon/ranchero type thing in a magazine. You folks in other countries don't realize how lucky you are to get vehicles other than the homogeneous crap sold here in the US. Bajas are neat- almost bought one until I realized the prospect of spending $1-2000 US to have secure rear storage negated any savings over the OBW. I'd love to have one of the falcons- much nicer than the baja. Please do not wish for us spec cars to come to your country. Next you'll have that EPA pollution crap, the safety garbage and you will regret it!!

You can thank somebody above for not getting Canadian cars which have even higher safety standards! Base Outbacks in Canada have the side air bags as standard equipment plus tougher bumper laws.

Ranchero?

Not sure which Falcon you're going on about.

But yeah, we do have pretty cheap, powerful, locally-developed V6 and V8s. Seen the new Torana yet? Some fine Aussie engineering there. VZ Holden Commodore series has all the goods going for it as well. S-spec has an Alloytec V6 pumping out 190KW, six-speed manual, family sedan... Or the SS, which has the 250KW V8, six-speed [Different 'box to the manual though]

The Ranchero was the US Ford car/pickup hybrid in the 60's and 70's a competitor of the Chevy El Camino. Both were awesomely sharp cars esp. the Ranchero GT. Look on the net. These are pretty cool.

The US version of the 60's Ranchero was based on the Ford Falcon station wagon platform. Seems they're recycling badges half a world away. I still see one of these around my neighborhood in Seattle WA.
