I have a 1970 240Z that I drive and am restoring.
First off an "Automotive Tip" for any car owner. Use "Distilled Water" in the radiator and windshield washer reservoir. This will save parts from corrosion and will keep your radiator pristine clean. I have been using "Distilled Water" in all my older vehicles with 100% satisfactory results.
To the topic of this post. My 240Z has always run hot and this is especially the case on a hot summer day with the A/C on.
So I am considering an Aluminum Radiator. It is my understanding that with this type of radiator one can expect temperatures of 30% cooler or more while at heavy operation loads.
Any experience with this or thoughts?
