I have a 1991 non-turbo 300ZX. When I apply the brake, a high-pitch squeal comes from the pedal itself. The pitch changes depending on how hard I press on the pedal. The car stops fine and is full of brake fluid. It squeals even during complete rest/stop. Of course it doesn't do it all the time just most of the time. If I had a mechanic look at it, it would be one of the times it doesn't do it. You advice would be greatly appreciated.

Very common problem. Probably a leak in the brake booster. Sounds bad but. like you said, the car seems to stop fine. When I replaced the brake booster it went away (and braking improved alot even though it seemed "ok" before).
