are they better? I am looking into those myself.

Better in what way? They may decrease braking distance, but only by a slight margin (other factors such as tire, tire size, ABS, etc. come into play for overall braking distance). The number of pistons will make pedal feel marginally better as well as promote evenly force on the brake pads. Where that kit would really shine would be lowering rotor temps during repeated hard stops, thus, greatly decreasing the risk for brake fade.

My suggestion: if you plan on driving at HPDE's, then this kit would be worthwhile. Otherwise, the stock single-piston setup would be adequate for the street -- I'd just upgrade the pads.
