Professional detailers use a fine brush to apply TU-paint. Just enough to fill the nick or scratch, then a rubbing and polishing compound to even it out. This after they de-wax the area and before they reapply the wax.
Basically, you don't want to use the brush that comes with the TU-Paint, and leave a glob.
