Any advice on the following please
Fitting new shoes to rear brakes
According to haynes i should have a spring return clip in the braking system.
It sits over the top of the braking system and is the first bit for removal.
The book says that this consists of a large u shaped piece of spring steel that springs inside the hub and is clipped at the bottom.
The existing liners are worn oddly more at bottom left less at top right ( not worn evenly )
I seem to have all the neccasary there apart from this spring and its retainer
Has it now changed or should there be one there
am i missing something ?
I am a rank amateur and have never done brakes before.
