Follow up to engine vibration

Well, took it into the shop. They said it was not the motor mount but found that the #3 Fuel injector died and along with the original spark plugs and wires... all needed to be changed. Have yet to get the car back as there is other work to be done on this 91' with less than 45,000 miles.

So it was not the motor mounts that caused the shaking but the fuel injector that died.

Something's fishy here. I would do the basic tuneup first, spark plugs, wires, rotor, cap.

THEN, if the car still acts up, continue to diagnose the fuel injector.

Well, these guys have worked on my truck and I really trust them.

Being that it was only the # 3 fuel injector and to top it off. This is a 91 Nissan 240SX with under 50,000 miles. It sat most of that time before we bought it and then it was used daily. Had it for

2 years before these things started. Everything was original so I kinda agree, that after 16 years, some things actually do need changed. Drives like a champ now.
