Hot starting problem solved

I have been reading with interest that several others have had problems similar to mine. My 89 240 SX had developed a bad habit of not wanting to start when the engine was hot. It just clicked, but the starter would not turn. Took it to the dealer and was told the starter was binding up when hot, and they replaced it. They also said there was too much resistance in the starting circuit (not in the power wire from the battery). They found the remnants of an old alarm system that was causing the resistance, and remove it. The alarm must have been installed by the previous owner. Thought I'd pass this along.
