sounds like you limited slip diff had some problem.
if it is a mechanical limited slip diff, go to a specialise and get them to have a look if it is a viscous limited slip diff, an oil change should fix the problem. No need to worry!

problem is now my wife doesn't trust the vehicle, she is afraid the wheels will lock again and be difficult to control.
