Sentra 2001 Disc pad and engine displacement

1. Given one buys oem specification of disc pads does it make any practical difference if they are Nissan or say bendix or some other none Nissan brand?.2. I have Sentra 2001 GXE darn if I can find if that model is 2.0 or 1.8 engine. Any help on where to find displacement ?>Thanks

gxe is 1.8 0nly the SE is 2.0
