Can anyone assist with this question?
1999 Sentra GXE with 84K miles.
If you simply accelerate, the car won't shift out of first gear until about 30mph and won't shift out of second til around 40 or 45mph. However, I discovered that if you release the gas at the time where a stick shift would require you to shift gears, the car will shift to the next gear.
What could this be?
