Q:I wonder what the story is with respect to reprogramming the Nissan Skyline onboard computer?
Q:Can you please point me in the right direction to sites specialising in these onboard computers?
I figured out how to repair them but not how to get into the guts, ie; the CMos BIOS. I have located some manufacturers in Japan such as the Japan Electronic Control Systems Ltd et al, but not a skirrig of data are to be found there. Surely ppl sell upgrade 'chips' 4 them, there must be something in the open source sense, that I can apply to my own chip reprogramming.
I don't think one wants to go the Megasuirt way insofar as building the computer from scratch, from the PCB up...Whew.
