MY MAXIMA WILL NOT IDLE RIGHT,IT WILL NOT GET ABOVE 2000 RPM...I HAVE CHANGED THE AIR FILTER,PLUGS,WIRES,TPS,,,,WHAT DO I NEED TO DO? COULD IT BE THE FUEL PUMP..OR WHAT>>? WHAT WOULD CAUSE THIS, IT WILL CRANK.BUT WONT STAY CRANKED DUE TO THE IDLE...

WOULD A RELAY GOING OUT MAKE MY CAR STALL?

SOunds like a bad airflow meter. Unplug it and see if it will go above

2K then.

If some sensors fail, ECU keeps it running in safe mode, 2200rpm ceiling. As said, might be MAF and/or cam pos sensor malfunction, bad groundings, oxidized connectors., low charge voltage

Measure MAF input (p. 9), disconnection wont hlp. Buy 'new', be prepared to multiple (autozone) 'new' sensors which wont work...

Groundings, cam pos sensor, see p.10 and p.14, click below
