Re: 92 Max Starting Problem

Put an in-line pressure tester in the fuel line at the fuel filter. I'm betting on your fuel pump. No codes, turns normally, sparks . . . fuel pump.

That's the only simple answer that I can think of.

Listen very carefully under the car for the fuel pump sound when you turn the ignition on (but not cranking the motor). If you hear the whirring/buzzing sound, then your fuel pump is functioning. If not, first check the fuel pump fuse. If the fuse if burned out, replace w/ proper fuse. Then replace the fuel filter. My 94 GXE was doing the exact same thing 3 weeks ago. It burned out 7 fuses (all while the wife was driving) and after I replaced the filter, it hasn't burned anymore fuses since. As far as the beautiful women, I'm not gonna give you any advice there. Hope the tow truck driver didn't take them home w/ him!
