205 wings

I need to get two front wings for a 205 gti. Has anyone ordered wings from Neat? I wondering what kinda quality they are.

I had too much hassle in the past with poorly fitting replacement wings that rust in no time. Does anyone know of any other suppliers that stock good wings and would deliver to Ireland? I wouldn't mind an automatic bonnet while I'm at it, but I don't think Neat ship them.

Also, whats everyones opinion on the best colour to spray the 205, cherry red, miami blue, or black? I'm inclined to go for the blue, although the original colour was red.

And while I'm at it, if anyone has an unmodified 1.9 gti and a digital camera, would you take a few detailed pics of the engine bay. The car was fitted with a 1.6 engine at some point (for some unknown reason) and I want to put a 1.9 back into it. I just want to make sure everything goes in it's original place.

Thanks, Ollie

The guy whose spraying the car will sandblast and respray the wheels as well for me. Goodwood green would be nice, but it has the red and black leather interior which might look a bit off beside the green. I think I'll go for the miami blue and get the wheels sprayed white. Black looks good only when it is absolutely spotless clean, which is difficult living in a rural area.

All I need to do now is completely gut the bloody thing.

That would be great. Remove the obvious to email me. There's no big rush since I'm stripping it down to spray it at the moment.

I've not ordered any wings from there, but other stuff I ordered was good. I did get a wing from EuroCarParts and you do need to work it a bit to make it fit well. It's also pretty thin compared to the original (although it will be a bit better when I get the damn thing sprayed!!!)

You may be hard pressed to get a bonnet delivered. It may be cheaper to come over on the ferry and pick one up! The auto bonnets are always expensive - I thing ECP wanted around 70 quid!

Miami Blue definitely. (Out of those 3) - You could always go for Pinewood green (the 309 Goodwood and 205 Roland Garros colour) - That would stand you out.

Nope sorry, but there are pictures on the web.

Definately Miami Blue - mate has a 309 GTi in that colour and it looks stunning! Red is a bit common, although black could also look good. As Matt said, Goodwood Green would be a different look, especially if you got the wheels done in grey like the Goodwood.

miami blue, its by far the best colour they made em in!

I can do some high res pics, but I have a K&N so it would be minus the induction pipes, let me know if you want me to oblige...

If you can, make sure you get original Peugeot parts. They're more expensive but worth it for the fit. You could try

- but get a good description of what you're getting. This guy can supply new stock but also second-hand stuff.. which can be of varying quality.
