406 - 1998 mileage display disappeared!

The mileage and tripmeter displays in my instrument panel just disappeared yesterday. Is this likely to just be a fuse, or something more sinister? Anyone seen it?

Weird. It came back again on the way home from work last night!....dirty contact somewhere perhaps?
