when i am driving and i am doing 2500 and i put foot down in 4th the rev counter shoots upto 3200 and then drops to 3000 and then goes up up.
is the cluch starting to slip or is it something else

sounds like your clutch is definatly worn, replace before you get stranded somewhere.
