The dash lights & steering wheel lights went out in my wife's car ( 1997 Grand Prix ) the other day....pretty sure its a fuse, question is which one is it & where is it ?

Try looking for a 2-amp fuse in the instrument panel fuse block (right side) labeled "STR WHL ILUM." Also be sure no one has inadvertently turned down the lamp dimmer control.
