i started hearing a noise that sounds like a motor is running /humming noise/like the trans is running because it will not shift, just hard to describe, but i also noticed when reving up the engine to try and figure out the noise problem, that it will not go past 4,000 RPM'S.my car has no warning lights that go on and other than the noise, i would have not noticed anything wrong. i have 90,000 miles and no other apparent problems. any thoughts? thank you very much.
