2002 Grand Am headlight part

k, here?s the thing.

i unscrewed one of the two screws in the headlight case that adjust the headlight with the star screws in them. upon trying to screw this screw back in, it will not screw back in, so the headlight is facing the right when its on and sticks out of the car like 3 inchs. i went looking for a replacement piece and ive been told that i have to replace the headlight. i think that is BS...so im wondering if anyone has any suggestions on where i can get this piece. please help someone

not sure about your case but on older glass headlight capsule's if you broke off the headlight adjustment screw that went through a clip crimped over glass ears you were SOL. Dealer item only $300.00

Good luck

Harryface, Do you ever use gmpartsdirect.com? Headlight asm for late model GA is about $190 with shipping.

Cheers, hdd

Never used GMpartsdirct.com. The price I posted was a 1992 price for my headight long before there was a dotcom to buy from.

A dab of silicone sealer sealed the hole in the headlight lens just fine.
