91 grand prix problem

I replaced a 3.1 in my '91 Grand Prix as well. Everything was in place, and the starter would run, but the engine wouldn't start. The problem was there was a connector running from back near the transmission to somewhere up near the engine (sorry, I have a very bad memory and can't remember exactually where the connections were) that was making it not run. I would advise that you check, recheck and then check all over again all of the connections for the engine. Also, make sure there is a connector running from the near the front of the car to the back of the engine/front of the transmission. That is where our problem was.

I would check the starter/solenoid to begin with.
