ABS Clicking

Oct 13, 2005 1 Replies

I have a '98 Pontiac Grand Am GT with ABS brakes. The car has good brakes all the way around and stops fine. No pulling, nothing out of the ordinary except when the pedal is depressed a series of random clicking sounds emanate from what appears to be under the dash. Not prevalent at higher speeds but as you keep your foot on the pedal lightly and the car slows down, the clicking increases. The sound definitely is not coming from the brakes but from something located possibly on the firewall or under the dash. Need help, nobody seems to know what it is.

Thanks, Craig
